Towing is easier when the job is assessed properly before a truck is sent. We ask for the pickup, destination, vehicle or load, condition, access and any loading issues that may affect the move. For machinery, forklifts and commercial vehicles, accurate weight and dimensions are especially important because the right truck and loading method depend on the actual transport requirement.

What our capability wording means
A vehicle's GVM, tare weight and actual transport weight are not the same thing. For light trucks and commercial vehicles we confirm the model, body type, whether the vehicle is loaded, approximate weight and dimensions before accepting the job. Machinery and forklift transport is assessed the same way. If the load is outside the available truck capacity, we do not describe it as a job we can safely move.
Low-clearance and prestige vehicles can also require a different loading approach. Where suitable, ramps and controlled tilt-tray loading can be used to reduce the loading angle. The vehicle's condition, clearance and wheel movement still need to be confirmed first.
